Pediatric Eye Care

The American Optometric Association currently recommends pediatric eyes at the following intervals:

A baseline infant check between 6 -12 months. We are proud to take a part in the American Optometric Association’s InfantSEE program, providing no cost, comprehensive eye exams to babies under 12 months. Checking for a developing glasses prescription, eye turns, or eye health concerns, this is a way to make sure your baby is seeing the world they are in clearly.

A second exam is recommended between 3-5 years old to monitor your child’s eye development.

At age 6 and over, a yearly exam, or exam intervals determined by your doctor, is recommended to insure your child’s eyes are healthy and functioning well for school and hobbies.
